Inperspire towel of the month / Towel

Why do you exercise?

Freedom: the quality or state of being free; the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action.

In celebration of all things free…our towel of the month is:  I Exercise 2 Live My Life.  Only $8.

Have a wonderful 4th of July!

  1. Love the towel! Hope you are having a fabulous holiday weekend! I am back on track with exercising and have gotten in exercise everyday this month… hopefully this trend will last!

    July 1st: Hit it!
July 2nd: Zumba for breast cancer awareness in the street.
    July 3rd: 10 mile walk
    July 4th: Hit it!

I am so glad you posted about the Hit It! kickboxing dvd! I am pretty much obsessed with the workout now!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

    • Yay for Hit It and for exercising everyday this month! I am going to get the July calendar done by today or tomorrow! Here’s to trends :).

  2. I love the pic, the towel the saying!!!!

Core/abs and run done already! I plan to eat my normal healthy self but treat myself with a cookie! I am not even a fan of the July 4th type foods…. so all is good with me!

    Have a great one!

    • You know what I love about 4th of July food? I love the potato salad my mom makes – wish I had some now. I think a cookie is a good treat, but for some reason I have had a craving for lemon meringue pie, which is way out of normal for me. I think the hot weather has something to do with it. Enjoy your grandkids today!

  3. I often ask that question “Why do we exercise”. For me it’s becuse I love that towel!! My mind is not as full as it used to be–but there is still a small amount left that needs to be free. My small walk everyday gives me a chance to just relax a bit more.

We are staying close to home this holiday and working around the yard. Hope everyone has a fantastic 4th of July. Or if you live in Utah it could be celebrated on the 3rd-4th or 5th. They are all a little off here. ha Momb

    • Hey M – I do think your walks with Dano, even in the very cold times, give you a freedom that you’ve come to enjoy. I know you always like listening to your iPod, which is also freeing.

Of course the 4th of July holiday in Utah is a bit flexible, but what about the 24th? I used to think the 24th, or, “Pioneer Days”, was a national holiday!!!

  4. I have one word for today’s 4.5 mile walk – HOT! Wait, one more word – Done!

We got a special treat this morning – Jimmy’s work called to say he could have the day off – now for me – it doesn’t get better than that.

Jimmy is making us egg burritos right now, which isn’t really 4th of Julyish, but sounds pretty good. Will check in later. Glad you all like the Free My Mind pic and towel :).

  5. Today is a nice summer day in St. Louis, hot and humid with a chace of storms, but that is perfect for us. We went for a good walk, and now we are going to do a few hours of yard work, this should be a sweaty day.

  6. ah……Pheobe and I got our walk in today……a little shorter than normal because people were lighting some firecrackers and she got scared…..
Friday I got to take her to a friends house with a huge field and we ran and played every where. She was in love…..she cut her toe however on the barbedwire……
I can’t wait until my classes start so I have a schedule that I have to stick to….I keep sleeping so late…..

  7. Funny, I never really think about why I exercise. It’s just such a part of me that I just do.

There are times, though, when I question my sanity when it comes to exercising – like today when I had dreams of pushing my 4 year old in the jogger for 8 miles (when humidity is pushing close to 100F). Needless to say, I bailed at 4 miles and walked home.
