I have been saving this image for a day when I need a little break.  Today is that day :).

So, get up, get going, and get some “plastic surgery” today!

Have a wonderful Saturday.  Enjoy every minute of of it!

  1. You know how much I love this!! I didn’t get to post yesterday due to the overwhelming needs of my family. We went biking yesterday in 95 degree weather, not a great idea. I was so overheated I threw up and felt sick the rest of the night. Today will be a rest day, we are going out on Lake Washington to boat a bit. Wish you were beautiful the weather is here.

    • Dana – That is not good to get that overheated/worked. I hope you are feeling better today. Make sure you drink a ton of water (probably some electrolytes are needed too) today. Have fun on Lake W. Wish we were there too!

  2. I’m taking a rest day too! In fact, I haven’t run since Thursday night when I did my last 3 miles before tomorrow’s race.

    Dana, hope you’re feeling better.

      • Thanks Cynthia. When the weather gets hot here in Seattle we just have to be outside all the time. It is actually kind of ridiculous. We love to play hard here.

  3. I went out in the heat today and had a good run, when I got home I did some of this weeks boot camp, now it is time to work on the bike. Have a great weekend.

  4. I am just having one of those days…but I am glad to say that it did not detain me from my exercise. I was finally able to do the entire run part of our walk run today (haven’t been able to get myself to do it in a long time). I almost ran out of energy a few times – I think the stress of the week and not enough to eat yesterday (not because I was trying not to eat, but because of my schedule and then being so tired I fell asleep at 8 pm) got to me a bit – oh yeah – and the heat. Anyway, low key day today. I am getting ready to try my hand at cubist drawing (it will be unsophisticated, but fun!).

  5. ah…..i love cubism……I enjoyed learning about it in my short run of online classes through the Art Istitute……
Today Pheobe and myself got in our walk…..I am not doing so hot for my third try at a new start…..going to go get some good food for me to have, classes start for me again this week.
My new job is still closed so I deemed it my job i had…..I put in new apps but ugh no luck…..I really need to just make my Mary Kay work so I can have off whenever I need without having to beg people and whatnot……ON that note, I don’t much fit into any of my skirts for Mary Kay that I did a year ago soooooo yick…….gotta work extra hard…….my support team here is still lacking again……mostly because I am lazy…..Wednesday I worked at waffle house from six a.m. to nine p.m. It was horrible…….Alright have a good rest of the weekend!!!!!

    • Hey Smith – Sounds like the kind of thing(s) that happen right before we make big changes. Glad you are starting classes again next week. Sorry about the job situation. Is there any possibility of getting something at school? I worked nights so I could go to school in the day and vice versa when needed. I know it’s frustrating. I hope you can find something you don’t mind doing. About the not fitting into the skirts thing – I feel ya’ sister. That’s what happened to me and when I couldn’t take it anymore, I started portion control via the Livestrong website so I knew my target calorie goal for each day – which was great because your target calories are calculated not only on the food you eat, but also on your activity. I cannot tell you how much that helped. I drank a ton of water and I walked at least 4-5 days. Don’t give up. You can do it. — I can’t wait to hear about your time at the Art institute. I am not an artist but I like to try. You should see my self-portrait – using instructions for elementary school children. I will post it later this week – you will laugh :). ~Karma

  6. I missed this yesterday! Love it!!!! Although, with age, I will take a little touch up here & there, especially the face! 🙂 BUT, yes, exercise & especially weight training will help that bod big time!!!!!! 🙂
