Start Your Day Off With A Sundae

That is Dr. Oz’s advice, via Dr. Rovenia Brock, for when we hit a weight loss plateau.  Start your day off with a sundae

Of course, Dr. Oz is not talking about a sundae from Dairy Queen or McDonalds (sorry, Dana), but instead a “special” sundae to boost your metabolism and get your day started right.

We have not tried this sundae yet, but I am very interested in seeing if we like it and seeing if it works.

Even though Greek Yogurt seems to be the darling of just about everyone,  Jimmy and Iare not fans.  We are, however, definintely going to try Dr. Oz’s recipe.  Why not?  What could happen?

Here is the recipe:

Ingredients
1/2 cup low-fat Greek yogurt
1 banana
1/2 cup strawberries
Unsweetened coconut, to taste
Ground flaxseed, to desired consistency
Matcha green tea powder, to taste (available at health food stores)

Directions
Combine all ingredients and enjoy.

If you try this recipe (or have tried it), let us know what you think.  Is it good?  Will it work?  How fattening is it?

Live healthy and happy today!

  1. Maybe we should try it. This is what I think, if you feel the urge to eat a bunch of junk, and not exercise, this is what you should do, go to any Doctors office or a parking lot of a medical building and look at the people that are in the building, that will make you want to exercise.
